22 years ago; The Beginning of a New Era in Tag Team

Hey guys, here's a moment from 22 years ago today:

It was the beginning of a New Era in Tag Team Wrestling in the WWE

The Hart Foundation took on The British Bulldogs in Tampa, FL

Bret "The Hitman" Hart along with their manager Jimmy Hart took on The Dynamite Kid and The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith

This match was a classic, and to this dady, many people consider it as the one of THE best Tag Team Matches of all time in the history of Professional Wrestling

But @ the end, it was the Megaphone that made the difference and thanks to that, The Hart Foundation def. The Bulldogs and won the WWE World Tag Team Championship for the very 1st time ending the Bulldogs reign of 42 weeks (almost 300 days to be exact)

The Hart Foundation would go on to hold the titles for 39 weeks and a day before losing the belts to Strike Force @ WM IV

and now, 22 years later, Bret Hart is now retired, but still keeps busy, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart continues to wrestler in Canada and Jimmy Hart is still active as well.

and sadly for The British Bulldogs, The Dynamite Kid is now paralyzed and as for Davey Boy Smith, he died in 2002 @ the young age of 39.
