The World Heavyweight Title; more like a Hot Potato Empty

Hey guys, I want to talk about a championship that has been more like a Hot Potato (as they would say in the old WCW).

I'm talking about the World Heavyweight Championship

Ever since 2002, the World Heavyweight Championship has only changed hands not too many times when it was on RAW

In 2002, Triple H was awarded the belt, but then, the last 2 PPV's saw the World Heavyweight Championship changed hands.

Shawn Michaels won it @ Survivor Series in the 1st ever Elimination Chamber Match and then @ Armageddon, it changed hands again, this time, Triple H won it in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match.

In 2003, the World Title changed hands twice again, this time, Goldberg won it @ Unforgiven ending not only Triple H's 40 week title reign, but also his Undefeated Streak @ Unforgiven, but then @ Armageddon from the RAW only PPV, Triple H reclaimed his throne in a Triple Threat Match against Goldberg and Kane.

In 2004, the World Title changed hands 3 times

Chris Benoit def. HBK and Triple H to win the World Heavyweight Championship @ Wrestlemania XX, but then he lost the belt to Randy Orton @ Summerslam making him the youngest man to ever win the World Heavyweight Championship, but then his glorious reign came to an end @ Unforgiven when Triple H (thanks to Evolution) took the belt from RKO.

But then, in December on RAW, Vince McMahon declared the World Title Vacant after a Triple Threat Match ended in a tie.

2005 saw Triple H win the belt once again in the 3rd Ever Elimination Chamber Match @ New Year's Revolution, but then @ Wrestlemania 21, Batista def. Triple H to win his 1st World Heavyweight Championship and it would be the last time that Triple H held the World Heavyweight Championship.

On June 30th, 2005 on a taping of SD!, Batista went to SD! and took the World Heavyweight Championship with him.

But in 2006, Batista vacated the title due to an injury, and that's when the Hot Potato Era began

Kurt Angle won the belt on SD! and then Rey Mysterio won the belt @ Wrestlemania 22, then Booker T. won it @ The Great American Bash and then Batista finally reclaimed the throne @ Survivor Series XX.

In 2007 @ Wrestlemania 23, The Undertaker won the World Heavyweight Championship, but then after an injury, Edge cashed in his Money in the Bank and won it on SD!, but then when he was forced to vacate the belt, The Great Khali won it on SD!, but then @ Unforgiven, Batista won the belt in a Triple Threat Match, but then @ Armageddon, Edge ended the year winning the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Batista and The Undertaker.

In 2008, The World Title would once again become a Hot Potato

The Undertaker def. Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship once again, but then Vickie Guerrero stripped The Undertaker of the belt and in June @ One Night Stand IV, Edge would reclaim his throne in a TLC Match, but then @ the end of June, CM Punk cashed in his Money in the Bank and he would bring the World Heavyweight Championship back to RAW for the 1st time in 3 years, but then after being ambushed by Orton, Priceless and Manu, Chris Jericho won a Championship Scramble Match to win the World Title, but then @ Cyber Sunday, Batista would regain the World Heavyweight Championship for the 4th time.

and then, 8 days later on RAW in a Steel Cage Match, Jericho regained the World Heavyweight Championship for a 2nd time.

and then, 20 days later, John Cena won the World Heavyweight Championship @ the 2008 Survivor Series.

and so, I ask you all this:

Has the World Heavyweight Championship became more like a Hot Potato?

That's the Question!

Please share your thoughts on all of this.
