Hey guys, and now, it's time to talk about one of the most innovative matches in the history of the WWE

and I'm talking about TLC-Tables, Ladders & Chairs

TLC has been a part of the WWE ever since the year 2000

It was for the WWE World Tag Team Championship, the WWE Heavyweight Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship

The History of Tables, Ladders & Chairs Daviszb5
@ Summerslam 2000, Edge & Christian took on The Dudleys and The Hardys and that night, Edge & Christian managed to retain the World Tag Team Titles that night, only to lose it a month later @ Unforgiven 2000 to The Hardys inside of a Steel Cage

@ Wrestlemania X-7 in front of over 70,000 fans in H-Town, Edge & Christian, The Dudleys and The Hardys went @ it again, this time, Spike Dudley, Rhino and Lita were all involved in the match, but @ the end, it was Edge & Christian who once again, regained the WWE World Tag Team Championship for a 7th time

It would be their last time holding the World Tag Team Championships together

The History of Tables, Ladders & Chairs Smack11
on May 24, 2001 on Thursday Night Smackdown! on upn, Edge & Christian, The Dudleys & The Hardys would once again take place in a TLC Match, only this time, it was a 4-Way with Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho (who won the Tag Team Belts from Stone Cold & Triple H on RAW that same week) into the mix, Benoit was down and out, but @ the end, The Rabid Wolverine manage to grab the belts and he and Jericho retained the WWE World Tag Team Championship

In 2002 on RAW Roulette I on The New TNN in Las Vegas, it was a TLC Match once again, and this time, it was Kane defending the World Tag Team Championship against Christian & Chris Jericho, Bubba Ray & Spike Dudley and Jeff Hardy & Rob Van Dam, but @ the end, it was Kane who grabbed the belts and retained the World Tag Team Championship for him and Gregory Helms, only to lose the belts a week later to Jericho & Christian and Kane would also lose the I-C Gold to Triple H @ No Mercy 2002 in a Winner Take All Match

In 2006, TLC was once again in the mix, only this time, Edge was involved and he would compete in 2 TLC Matches that year for the WWE Heavyweight Championship

The History of Tables, Ladders & Chairs Promo003
On Martin Luther King Day 2006 on RAW on the USA Network, Edge would take on Ric Flair (who was also the I-C Champ @ the time) in Flair Country North Carolina, Edge & Flair would do battle, but @ the end, it was Edge who retained the WWE Heavyweight Championship, and just when he was about to go for his Conchairto, John Cena and attacked Edge and Lita escapes from Cena as well, just when she was about to attack him w/the chair

The History of Tables, Ladders & Chairs 001-5
@ Unforgiven 2006, Edge & Cena would meet once again for the WWE Heavyweight Championship in a TLC Match, and on that night, Cena would not only regain the WWE Heavyweight Championship for a 3rd time, but also, Edge & Lita would lose their World Titles in 1 night @ Unforgiven, Lita who lost the WWE Women's Championship to Trish would soon end up being FU'd by John Cena and Cena would go on to hold the WWE Heavyweight Championship for 55 weeks before being stripped of the title, due to injury by Randy Orton

The History of Tables, Ladders & Chairs 065
Edge would once again be involved in a TLC Match, this time, @ One Night Stand IV for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker, Edge & Taker brawled in that brutal match that night, but @ the end, Edge thanks to La Familia regained the World Heavyweight Championship for a 3rd time, Edge would hold on to the title for the entire month of June, until the end of that month, he would lose the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk, and not only that, the World Heavyweight Title would end up back on RAW for the 1st time in 3 years

Edge has competed in 6 of the 7 TLC Matches, Christian, Bubby Ray and Jeff Hardy have competed in 4 and Devon and Matt Hardy have competed in 3 while Chris Jericho has competed in only 2 of them and the rest have competed in only 1

Plus, Lita has been involved in 4 of the 7 TLC Matches as well

Edge is now 4-2 in TLC Matches, Christian is 2-2 in TLC Matches and Jericho is 1-1 in TLC Matches as well

and that is your look @ the History of the most innovative match in the WWE and in Professional Wrestling:
