and now, we take a look @ an NWA Legend who has competed in the WWE and has won Tag Team Gold:

Mike Rotundo

Mike Rotundo competed in the NWA and WCW, but during his time in the WWE, he has competed for Tag Team Gold in the WWE

Mike won the belt 5 times w/only 2 different Tag Team Partners:

4 Horseman and real life Brother-in-Law Barry Windham & "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Sr.

25 years ago; NWA Legends Mike Rotundo and his Real Life Brother-in-Law Barry Windham of the 4 Horsemen Fame won the WWE World Tag Team Championship (Twice) and they also competed in the very 1st Wrestlemania for the World Tag Team Championship

On January 21, 1985 in Hartford, CT, Rotundo and Windham def. the late Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch to win the WWE World Tag Team Championship

However, they would lose the belts to The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff @ the very 1st Wrestlemania

But 11 weeks and a day later in Poughkeepsie, NY, they would soon regain the WWE World Tag Team Championship for a 2nd time against Sheik and Volfkoff

During the early 90's, Rotundo returned to the WWE and he would wrestle as I.R.S.-Irwin R. Schyster and together w/"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Sr., they formed the Tag Team known as Money, Inc.

Money, Inc. would win the WWE World Tag Team Championship 3 times together as a Tag Team

Money, Inc. would def. the likes of The Legion of Doom, The Natural Disasters and The Steiner Brothers

They also competed in 2 Wrestlemanias as a Tag Team against The Natural Disasters and Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake, but both of those matches ended w/Money, Inc. retaining the titles after losing via countout

However, Summerslam '92 was their most famous event when they took on L.O.D. in front of 80,000 Fans inside Wembley Stadium in the UK

Mike Rotundo would soon rejoin the WCW in 1995 when he competed as V.K. Wallstreet and later Michael Wallstreet and then, he rejoined the Varsity Club in December '99 and January of 2000
